What is AR?

AR stands for accelerated reader.Accelerated Reader is a product of Renissance Learning.Our students can read books and then take AR test.The reading may be done at home, however testing must occur at school under professional supervision. The student then collects points according to his/her performance on the AR test.This program is a great way to encourage READING.

Parents may also log in to AR book guide from home.Go to the Library we page for that link.This will show ever book that has an AR test. Also, AR parent accounts are available by contacting Mrs. Hensley.

Expectation of Students:

*PROPER CARE OF LIBRARY BOOKS
*CORRECT LIBRARY SEARCH AND RETRIEVAL SKILLS
*GOOD CIRCULATION OF BOOKS (CHECK OUT AND RETURN)
*TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE AND DEVELOP GREATER RESEARCH SKILLS
