Wilhelmina Delco
Pflugerville Independent School District has proudly named our school after The Honorable Wilhelmina Delco. In 1974, Mrs. Delco was elected to the Texas State Legislature, where she served as a state Representative for twenty years before retiring.
Mrs. Delco currently serves as vice chair of the Board of Trustees of Huston-Tillotson College and is a member of the Texas Council for the Humanities.
Surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues, Mrs. Delco gave a moving speech at the school's dedication ceremony where she spelled out her words of wisdom for incoming students using the letters of her name.
